01/22/2014 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT COX Approved I sat and watched the EMC (Electronic Message Center) for approximately 20 minutes and discovered the following: For approximately 15 minutes the EMC displayed "Dasani 24pk 3.99 w/card". Then the EMC began flashing two different messages in one to two second intervals displaying "24HR Pharmacy 7111 E Golf Links and AZ Tea 23oz 2/1.00" This flashing of alternating messages lasted for 60 seconds and then the EMC fixed on the message "Pepsi 12pk 4/12 or 3.99". I went into the store and spoke with the manager on duty and explained the code and the permissible intervals for change of copy on the EMC. He apologized and stated he would correct the problem immediately. I will follow up on Tuesday of next week to confirm the correction.
01/30/2014 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE COX Approved I visited the site and stayed appx 30 minutes and during that time the EMC at the Walgreens did not change copy.
