10/22/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Met with the tenant and the water heater is not working and has been tried to be repaired. Did talk to the property manager and she was working on the water heater and was waiting for up to 5-days to make the repairs. Did go over the 24 hours requirement due to no hot water to the property and is a sanitary condition for the kitchen and the bathrooms. The tenant has tried to work on the water heater and not able to make it stay on. It will work for awhile and then turns off leaving not hot water heater. Did go to the owners property and was able to meet with her and the water heater is defective and was ordering a new water heater and hopes that it will be installed tomorrow. Did let the owner know that holes have been made on the wall for repairs to the water lines and have not been covered per exiting. Did let the owner know that the wall where the water lines repaired is a fire wall and needs to be repaired soon due to the garage has a fire will get into the house through the opening. Did call the tenant to let her know that the water heater will be worked on tomorrow. Will check tomorrow with the tenant. RV.
11/12/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE RVIDAL Approved No one home and talk to the property manager and the tenants have moved out. The water was back on and the owner will be getting the permit for the water heater. Will check in 45 days. RV.
