07/05/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Was called to the site for a blown roof off a mobile home from a wind storm. Did check the other mobile homes in the park and found where the roof was leaking. The leak was where an addition was added to the mobile home. The leak was going down the wall to where a light switch and outlet was located. The kitchen has a light on the ceiling that is leaking water around the light fixture. Parts of the mobile home roof have been lifted and the rain has stopped and not sure if the roof is leaking. Not able to find any wet areas on the ceilings. At this time the power will be removed at the pedistal with a lock out with a city lock until the repairs have been made or correction have been completed. The owners were served with paper work and were going to stay with friends for the night. Did a posting on the front window. The owners will call when the repairs are completed. RV.
07/06/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE RVIDAL Approved The owner called and the repairs have been completed. Did go to the site and checked the repairs and the addition has been patched with roll roofing and the mobile home is all being re-screwed. The cooler was also being looked at due to making a noise. Did let the owners know that they can stay in the mobile home and the city lock was removed and the power turned back on. At this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
