Arrived and the vehicle hit the front masonry wall by the sidewalk at the property line. The wall was about 30" up with metal railing on top of the wall with columns. The metal gate was hit by the vehicle and bent and on the ground. The column supporting the gate is destroyed. The vehicle hit the middle wood post for the front porch pushing it off the metal post base anchor and loose on the top where attached to the beam with post caps. The front window a single pane was broken from broken block hitting the window from the impact. The owner is out of town and the son was in the house at the time of the accident. T.P.D. was waiting for the results of the blood test before moving the vehicle from the property to decide where the vehicle is going to be move to or stored at. A detective came to the site and gave approval to move the vehicle from the property. The son signed all the paper work and has been in contact with the parents who are out of town. Took pictures. Will check in 45 days. RV. |
