Arrived and the units were clearing and had a short in the cooler switch. The owner was on the property and checked the fire damage. The cooler switch had where the wires separated from the switch and was touching the other wires. The fire department made holes in the wall that were plaster to check if the fire was behind the plaster. The owner was able to get the wires cut and placed wire nuts on the ends. The power was able to be turned back on. Did check the smoke detectors and the batteries had been removed. The owner had batteries and were placed and the smoke detectors were working. The owner was advised that an electrical contractor will be required to make the repairs and no permit will be required. Will check on Monday. RV. |
