04/09/2013 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | DCOX | Approved | The corner of the house was struck by a passenger van attempting to make a u-turn in the driveway. Damage was from the N/W corner of the structure extending south about 4' and east about 4'. Several studs were dislodged from the sole plate leaving an opening to the interior of the structure. There was one electrical receptacle compromised in the s/w side of the damaged area. No danger of structural collapse. The home is being used a group dwelling and managed by Grijalva Realty. A contractor was summonsed and arrived at the same time as myself. The contractor had secured the electrical circuit and was beginning to shore and board up the damaged area. I'll contact Grijalva and explain the permit process and follow up nex week. |
