Description:

Leak in the ceiling and the walls of the bathroom. Bathroom ceiling collapsed this morning. Only one bathroom inside the unit. Electricy issues throughout the hall way, bedrooms, and bathroom. Exposed wire in the bedroom. Water is turned off for repairs. Management has not offered another unit for the family of three to stay in.

04/08/2013 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(e) PLUMBING SYSTEMS. (1) Dwelling units shall be provided with one or more bathrooms equipped with a water closet, lavatory, and either a bathtub or shower. The number of water closets and lavatories for commercial buildings shall be determined by the International Building Code based on the use of the building. Each sink, bathtub and shower shall have hot and cold running water as necessary for its normal operation and use.

Peeling, chipping, flaking or abraded paint shall be repaired, removed or covered. All walls, ceilings or floors shall be free from holes, breaks and loose or rotting materials. Cracked or loose plaster, wallboard, decayed wood or other defective surface conditions shall be corrected.
