02/07/2013 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | LPUMPHRE | Approved | 9:00 a.m.: Site inspection conducted with Inspector Cox. Tenant of 137 did not allow entry; tenant of 139 did allow entry to living room, was able to detect a slight smell, see reference. Rear of property between the two units also had a slight smell, but source was unable to be determined. Clogging or overflow of drainage fixtures and sewer is not occurring per both tenants and was not observed. There is only a non-specific sewer pipe ventilation problem. Note: the home was built in 1913 and may have original plumbing contributing to ventilation issue. Pima County was previously out to snake their portion and found no obstructions. Plumbing contractor arrived as we finished inspection. Tenant wanted the units condemned but was advised the situation did not warrant condemnation. |
