01/12/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Communication called that T.P.D. on site with an officer on site with water coming from the building. Called the officer Cantua and has a building where the water was coming from the roof. Called communication that I would be responding to the call. Arrived and found where the water was going down the down spouts to the ground from the roof. Turned the valves to all the units and the water was still coming down. Found a valve by the wash room and that turned off the water going to the roof. The officer stated that the management had some one coming to the site and waited. Plumbers did show from Tucson Plumbing Services and they looked at the line on the roof. The line that broke was for the coolers and broke in several areas. The line was cut and a plug was placed to cap the line with a shark bite fitting. The line was insulated that was exposed outside the parapets. Water was restored to the property. Unit #103 has a bedroom ceiling that is leaking water including the window and was on the bottom floor. Unit #107 was a vacant unit and has some water on the floor. The tenants have moved all the items from the bedroom. Holes were made in the drywall to let the water out and the ceiling shows signs of collapsing. The tenants were going to stay with relatives for the night. While on site a company showed to extract the water from the flooring from T&T Emergency Water Removal. They were looking for someone to sign the order to clean the water and no management on the property. The plumber was calling someone to check on what they wanted to have done with the extracting. Due to the water was back on and the tenants going to another location to stay, I left the site and will check on the ownership to send the N.O.V. RV.
05/08/2013 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE RVIDAL Approved The unit is still vacant and secured. All issues have been addressed and at this time the case will be closed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
