01/05/2013 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Received a call from communication that T.F.D, on site with an electrical fire. Arrived and all the units have cleared and the investigators were on site. Found the main electrical service panel has shorted out burning the A & B bars have melted leaving the breaker all burned out. Was waiting for T.E.P. and the meter will be removed and the wires cut at the riser. Red Cross on site for placement. The owner signed the paper work and let them know that the power has to be re-stored to the property before re-occupying the property. She has just move into the house and will call the insurance. The house is OK and only damage from th fire was to the exterior by the main electrical panel. The wiring for the circuits or home runs have been charred in the panel. The owner will try to call contractors to see when the repairs can be done. Will check in 30 days. RV.
