Arrived and the units were completing the overhaul and cleaning the area. The investigators were looking for a cause in the attic of the living room and kitchen area. Appears that a junction box had a short and arced in the attic burning some insulation and some charring on the ceiling joist. The electrical meter has been blanked off by T.E.P. and the gas was going to remain on. The water heater is the only appliance on gas at this time. The only damage was to the ceiling in the living room and kitchen. The wiring that went into the junction box has all been damaged by the fire or heat damage. Due to the electrical being turned off the owner will not be able to remain in the house until the repairs have been completed. Permit required for the repairs and the reconnect for the electrical. Will check in 30 days. RV. |
