12/19/2012 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Communication called that T.F.D. on site with a building fire. Arrived and the heating and cooling unit on the roof had a fire inside the heating and cooling unit. The gas has been turned off at the valve on the roof and the main shut off on the ground by the meter has a pad lock from the school placed until the units on the roof have been checked. The only damage from the fire was to the unit on the roof and none to the structure or the interior of the building. At this time the case will be closed and the Sunnyside district will check the unit and turn the gas back on. S.W.G. was on site and a cap was placed on the gas line to the roof to the unit only that had the fire. All other units were not affected and will be checked before turned back on. Sunnyside Maintenance was on site and was advised what needed to be done and what happened. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
