He told me that the corporate commission had SWG turn the gas off on Sept. 20th. All occupied trailers, except for trailers number 3 and 4 have electric heat and electric cooking appliances. Trailers 3 and 4 are using electric space heaters and plug in electrical appliances for cooking. I inspected the windows in both trailers, some were screwed closed and missing window cranks. The smoke detectors were working. Had tenant remove screws from windows for safety reasons. Told tenant to turn off space heaters while sleeping, possible fire hazard. Spoke to owner, said he would move tenant in trailer #4 to another park tomorrow. The tenants in trailer #5 have been served an eviction notice and should have moved out this weekend. Owner said he would removed tenant from Trailer. Both trailers have issues with the condition of the water heaters installation; new electrical circuit runs in conduit outside the trailer; water leaks under the kitchen sink; trailer has small amout of insects and spiders. Will post or have tenant sign for NOV. After 48 hours will post trailer as a " Do Not Occupy". F/U 48 hours. |
