08/27/2012 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT RVIDAL Approved Met with the management and they have a work order to repair the roof. They have not been able to look at the damage due to the lock has been change to the door knob. Went to the unit with maintenance and he opened the door and the tenants were in the unit. They let an inspection be done and found where the roof is leaking and moistened the wall and ceiling. The ceiling has no staining but the wall has some blistering where it got wet. Has a hardwire smoke detector that has been removed and replaced with a battery operated in the kitchen area. The battery operated was changed due to the tenant had removed the smoke detector and had it on a shelf. Has ants in the unit, the garbage disposal is not working and the roof leaks through the scupper. Did meet with the management and the roof will be repaired soon. Will do a N.O.V. and take to the mangaement to serve. RV.
10/22/2012 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE RVIDAL Approved Unit is vacant and secured. All issues have been addressed. Violation Abated, Close Case. RV.
