The actuating portion of the releasing device shall extend at least one-half of the door leaf width. 2. The maximum unlatching force shall not exceed 15 pounds (67 N). Each door in a means of egress from a GroupAor E occupancy having an occupant load of 50 or more and any Group H occupancy shall not be provided with a latch or lock unless it is panic hardware or fire exit hardware. -THERE IS MORE THAN ONE PANIC HARDWARE ON THE DOOR IN THE PLAY ROOM. THE LATCH IS APPROX. 78" ABOVE THE FLOOR THUS MAKING IT IMPOSSIBLE FOR CHILDREN TO GET OUT IN THE EVENT OF AN EMERGENCY. 2. _____ 605.5 Extension Cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. - DRIVE THROUGH WINDOW - TEA MAKIGN AREA -EAST WALL BEHIND FRYERS 3. _____ 605.3 Working space and clearance. A working space of not less than 30 inches (762 mm) in width, 36 inches (914 mm) in depth and 78 inches (1981 mm) in height shall be provided in front of electrical service equipment. Where the electrical service equipment is wider than 30 inches (762 mm), the working space shall not be less than the width of the equipment. No storage of any materials shall be located within the designated working space. - BASEMENT -NEAR REAR DOOR 4. _____ 1006.3 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premise's electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, back-up power shall be supplied - ACROSS FROM THE TEA MAKING AREA 5. _____ 1027.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than foot-candles (54 lux). Internally illuminated signs shall provide equivalent luminance and be listed for the purpose - BASEMENT SOUTH WALL 2 EACH IN THE PLAYROOM 6. _____ 1028.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency when the areas served by such exits are occupied. Security devices affecting means of egress shall be subject to approval of the fire code official. - CURRENTLY THE 2ND EXIT FROM THE BASEMENT IS BLOCKED BY A "SLIDE" THAT IS USED TO HANDLE STOCK. 7. _____ 1001.1 General. Buildings or portions thereof shall be provided with a means of egress system as required by this chapter. The provisions of this chapter shall control the design, construction and arrangement of means of egress components required to provide an approved means of egress from structures and portions thereof. -DOOR HANDLE ON THE REAR (SOUTH) EXIT IS BROKEN AND MUST BE REPLACED 8. _____ 904.11.5 Commercial cooking equipment. Portable fire extinguishers shall be provided within a 30-foot (9144 mm) travel distance of commercial-type cooking equipment.
