The homeowner was contacted and states that an unknown person(s) left the items there sometime within the past few days. I explained the code and under normal circumstances she would be responsible even though she was the victim of a crime and that the property actually belongs to the City of Tucson. I offered to retrieve the items as a one time courtesy but future incidences would be her responsibility.
11/18/2011 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE DCOX Approved Inspectors Pumphrey and Cox responded and collected the illegally dumped furniture and disposed of it at a COT facility. Violation abated.
