Broken, loose, frayed, inoperable, defective or missing portions of the electrical service, lines, switches, outlets, fixtures and fixture coverings shall be repaired or replaced. (2) All electrical equipment, wiring and appliances shall be installed and maintained in a safe manner and in accordance with all applicable laws. |

MET TPD ON SITE, TPD'S EXPLANATION WAS TENANT IN UNIT #2129 STOPPED UP THE BATH TUB AND KITCHEN SINK, TURNED WATER ON AND LEFT THEM RUNNING. THREE UNITS WERE AFFECTED. UNIT #1129 DOWNSTAIRS DID HAVE WATER LEAKING THRU THE CEILING, THRU OUT THE UNIT, AT LEAST AND INCH OF WATER WAS STANDING IN TILED AREAS AND CARPET SATURATED THRU OUT. UNIT WAS UNOCCUPIED AND POWER WAS TURNED OFF. UNIT # 1128 HAD MINOR FLOODING IN THE BATHROOM AREA ONLY. WATER WAS COMING OUT OF THE A/C SUPPLY VENT IN THE CENTER OF THE CEILING. OCCUPANT HAD CONTAINED MOST OF THE WATER USING BUCKET AND GARBAGE CANS. UNIT # 2129 WHERE THE FLOODING ORIGINATED HAD WATER THRU OUT THE UNIT, WATER STANDING IN THE TILED AREAS AND CARPET SATURATED. OCCUPANT LEFT THE SCENE, AVOIDING TPD. WAS INFORMED BY TPD IF HE DID NOT RETURN THE UNIT WOULD BE BOARDED. UNIT WAS BOARDED BY OFFICER WIGHTMAN. PRIOR TO LEAVING THE SCENE POWER WAS TURNED OFF TO THE STRUCTURE AT THE INTERIOR SUB- PANEL. * TRIED TURNING POWER OFF AT THE MAIN PANEL HOWEVER NONE OF THE DISCONNECTS WERE PROPERLY MARKED TO IDENTIFY WHICH DISCONNECT WENT TO WHICH UNIT. *TRIED CONTACTING MANAGEMENT / MAINTANENCE, RECEIVED VOICEMAIL SYSTEM AND COULD ONLY LEAVE A MESSAGE. DID RECEIVE A CALL BACK FROM MAINTANENCE PERSON APPROX. 5:00 AM, INFORMED HIM OF THE SITUATION AND PLANNED ON MEETING HIM ONSITE BETWEEN 8:00 AM AND 9:00 AM. NO NOV WAS ISSUED AT THE TIME OF INITIAL INSPECTION. |
