Alarm #11-18507 Inspection found that there was a fire in the back room that was containted to that room, the fire started from what looks like a wicker trash basket. The fire daamaged some music equipment that was used to make recordings. Fire personnel open the wall and the cieling to check for ext and was negative. Some smoke damage to the room next the the room with the fire and light smoke in the rst of the house. NOV was give to owner on site for possable electrical repairs that that may need to be done, from what I could see from the hole in the wall made by the fire crews the wire looked to be ok, the same for the ceiling. State Farm is the company that will be handling the repairs. Emergency Order to Vacate was issued. Will check back with owner on 3-25-2011 to see where they are stay and if State Farm is working with them. |

| 03/28/2011 | T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(c) ELECTRICAL SYSTEM. (1) All dwellings and dwelling units shall be provided with electrical service. Electrical facilities connected to or in any building or structure are to be maintained hazard-free and in a state of good repair. The electrical system shall be free from such hazards as bare wiring; overloaded circuits or services; equipment not properly grounded; over-fused circuits; misuse of wiring, including the use of extension cords in lieu of permanent wiring; non-approved wiring; and wiring exposed to moisture or extreme heat. Broken, loose, frayed, inoperable, defective or missing portions of the electrical service, lines, switches, outlets, fixtures and fixture coverings shall be repaired or replaced. (2) All electrical equipment, wiring and appliances shall be installed and maintained in a safe manner and in accordance with all applicable laws. |
