11/24/2010 VIOL - PRECAUTION AGAINST FIRE dgreenl1 Violation TFC 315.2.2 - Means of egress. Combustible materials shall not be stored in exits or exit enclosures. *** Storage/sorting of stock and accumulation of waste in the exit enclosure (back hallway) is prohibited. These conditions were noted on 11/24/10. They were corrected upon re-inspection, 11/26/10. Please do not let these conditions re-occur or you may be cited.
11/26/2010 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS dgreenl1 Violation TFC SECTION 1028 MAINTENANCE OF THE MEANS OF EGRESS 1028.1 General. The means of egress for buildings or portions thereof shall be maintained in accordance with this section. 1028.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency when the areas served by such exits are occupied. Security devices affecting means of egress shall be subject to approval of the fire code official. 1028.3 Obstructions. A means of egress shall be free from obstructions that would prevent its use…. _____ Maintain clear aisle width throughout entire length of means of egress. Do not leave stock or waste in front of back door. Do not allow stock or waste to diminish required width of exit aisle. Boxes shall be stacked in an orderly manner and shall be removed if they begin to collapse or lean. *** This has been a recurring problem. Should these conditions be noted again, a citation shall be issued.
