04/19/2010 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS JBURGE Correction Required IFC 1027.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than 5 foot-candles (54 lux). Internally illuminated signs shall provide equivalent luminance and be listed for the purpose. _____1. The south EXIT sign located in the play area shall be repaired and shall be fully illuminated. _____2. The east EXIT sign located in the play area shall be illuminated. _____3. The EXIT sign located in the dry storage area shall be fully illuminated.
04/19/2010 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS JBURGE Correction Required IFC 1027.5 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, illumination shall be automatically provided from an emergency system. _____1. Repair or replace the emergency lighting unit located in the side lobby. _____2. Repair or replace both emergency lighting units located in the play area.
