Inspection showed owner has finished the rear yard in concrete, with 6" channels between patio and block wall. Neighbor is concerned water will undermine wall and drain onto his property. Currently there is no evidence that this has occurred. Neighbor advised that adding concrete does not necessitate a permit, but will research whether any review is needed. Update: 11/23/10: Owner does not appear to have changed the original approved grade and has provided for channels, no permits or review are required at this time. Should neighbor find issues in the future with actual drainage, it may be a private matter between the residents. |
