Description:
The only air conditioning unit was allowed to remain completely inoperable from 7/8/10 - 7/11/10 despite tenant making repeated calls pleading to management to fix d/t temperatures > 100 degrees. Apartment has no GFI outlets in kitchen near sink. Windows are without screens and/or existing screens are torn/ripped excessively. The lock on the storm door has been broken and maintenance continues to neglect tenant's requests to fix the lock. Also, the elevator on the soutwest side of complex has been known to repeatedly fail and the doors will not open allowing persons inside the elevator to exit the elevator if the buttons are held in/pushed in by children or teens outside the elevator. The facility parking lot has numerous, enormous potholes and various trip/fall hazards to physically disabled tenants. Dog feces litters the entire complex, including primary walkways.
