04/20/2010 T.C. Ch. 16, Sec. 16-11(e) PLUMBING SYSTEMS. (1) Dwelling units shall be provided with one or more bathrooms equipped with a water closet, lavatory, and either a bathtub or shower. The number of water closets and lavatories for commercial buildings shall be determined by the International Building Code based on the use of the building. Each sink, bathtub and shower shall have hot and cold running water as necessary for its normal operation and use.

Every dwelling or dwelling unit shall have an adequate potable water supply. Every plumbing fixture, water and waste-pipe, and gas connection shall be properly installed in accordance with all applicable laws and maintained in good and sanitary working condition so as to prevent structural deterioration or health hazards, and are to be free from leaks and obstructions.
