| 02/03/2010 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | DCOX | Approved | This was not an emergency. There was no imminent danger whatsoever. This was the second or follow up inspection for an electrical reconnect under activity # T10EL00141. The PDSD inspector denied the reco based on the location of a smoke detector in a bedroom. The prospective occupants of the mobile home were using a drop cord from an adjacent MH to power a cooking appliance. I disconnected the drop cord and explainced the dangers as well as the legal aspects. I instructed the occupant to move the smoke detector and call for the reco inspection the following day. Permit # T10EL00141 was approved and electricity was restored to the MH on 01-29-10. Case closed. |
