10/28/2009 INSP - FULL RHEATH Correction Required 1. The fire alarm system is over due its annual servicing. Have system serviced. INTERNATIONAL FIRE CODE (IFC) 901.6.1 Standards. Fire protection systems shall be inspected, tested and maintained annually IAW NFPA Standard #72. 901.6.2 Records. Records of all system inspections, tests and maintenance required by the referenced standards shall be maintained on the premises for a minimum of three years and shall be copied to the fire code official upon request. 2. The duct work above the commercial cooking system is in need of a thorough cleaning from the hood up to the fan on the roof. IFC 904.11.6.3 Cleaning. Hoods, grease-removal devices, fans, ducts and other appurtenances shall be cleaned at intervals necessary to prevent the accumulation of grease. Cleanings shall be recorded, and records shall state the extent, time and date of cleaning. Such records shall be maintained on the premises. NOTE: The fire suppression system for the commercial cooking will be serviced 11/03/2009. 904.11.6.4 Extinguishing system service. Automatic fire-extinguishing systems shall be serviced at least every 6 months and after activation of the system. Inspection shall be by qualified individuals, and a certificate of inspection shall be forwarded to the fire code official upon completion.
