07/02/2009 VIOL - BUILDING SVCS & SYSTEMS JLONGO Correction Required 605.1 Abatement of electrical hazards. Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. Electrical blanks shall be placed in all open spaces within any electrical panel or box. _____ Place electrical blanks in any open void spaces in your electrical panel 605.4 Multi-plug adapters Multi-plug adapters, such as cube adapters, unfused plug strips or any other device not complying with the ICC electrical code shall be prohibited. _____ All Multi-plug adapters shall be removed or replace with approved fused power strips.
07/02/2009 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS JLONGO Correction Required 1027.5 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, illumination shall be automatically provided from an emergency system for the following occupancies where such occupancies require two or more means of egress: all Emergency lighting shall be functional and properly maintained in conjunction with IFC section 1027. _____ Fix, repair, or replace the emergency lighting unit(s) in order to meet code standards 1028.2 Reliability. Required exit accesses, exits or exit discharges shall be continuously maintained free from obstructions or impediments to full instant use in the case of fire or other emergency when the areas served by such exits are occupied. 1028.3 Obstructions.
