06/11/2009 VIOL - BUILDING SVCS & SYSTEMS DSIWARSKI Violation IFC.605.1 Abatement of electrical hazards. Identified electrical hazards shall be abated. Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. ____Open electrical wires on the west side front of building must be encased. ____Cover plate required on juncton box east side, front of building. ____Remove stored equipment to allow for access to electrical panel. ____Repair/service conduit on west side of building across from exit. ____Secure wall outlet on east wall. ____Cover plate needed on outlet in room by rear exit. ____Extension cords shall not be used as permanent wireing.

Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. ____Replace rear exit key lock. IFC.1027.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than 5 foot-candles (54 lux). A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED.
