Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. _____ Remove the electrical inhibiters that prevent your electrical box from breaking during a electrical hazard.
04/01/2009 VIOL - FIRE RESIST.RATED CONST JLONGO Correction Required 703.1 Maintenance. The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire-stops, shaft enclosures, partitions, smoke barriers, floors, fire-resistive coatings and sprayed fire-resistant materials applied to structural members and fire-resistant joint systems) shall be maintained. Such elements shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises' electrical supply.
