03/03/2009 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS JBURGE Correction Required TFC 1027.3 Exit sign illumination. Exit signs shall be internally or externally illuminated. The face of an exit sign illuminated from an external source, shall have an intensity of not less than 5 foot-candles (54 lux). Internally illuminated signs shall provide equivalent luminance and be listed for the purpose. _____1. The exit sign located in the rear exit corridor shall be illuminated.
03/03/2009 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS JBURGE Correction Required TFC 1027.5 Illumination emergency power. The power supply for means of egress illumination shall normally be provided by the premises’ electrical supply. In the event of power supply failure, illumination shall be automatically provided from an emergency system. _____1. Repair the emergency lighting unit located in the rear exit corridor.
