| 11/24/2009 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | DCOX | Approved | Discovered while investigating another complaint. I noticed illegal signs advertising a property for rent attached to utility poles, signs which I have previously removed. The new illegal for rent signs were placed approximately 12' to 15' about the ground in an apparent effort to prevent their removal. I followed the signs as directed and arrived at the address 2025 S Amigo Av. to find 4 additional signs on the property. Per Chapter 3 of the Tucson Code signs advertising residential property are limited to 1 sign per street frontage, in addition to the illegal signs posted on the utility poles which violate Chapter 3-55 of the Tucson Sign Code. While doing research for the NOV I discovered that the property is not registered with the Pima County Assessor's office correctly as a rental property but rather as "Owner Occupied". NOV to owner with 10 day compliance period. |
| 11/30/2009 | INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE | DCOX | Approved | Signs removed. Violations abated. Case closed. |
