Description:

Sewage backed up into unit 4103. Carpet soaked with raw sewage. Not currently living in unit. Apartment management would not relocate her to another unit. Bedroom wall was saturated due to flooding. Damage is 12" high off the ground. Walls are not dried, you can push through the wall by touching it. Black mold growing in the creases of walls/shower/ in the closet. Burned lining of nose and eyes due to bleach use on carpet on Monday. Tuesday evening, sewer backed up again. Sewage came in from her unit from her neighbor's unit. Carpet pulled up, blower installed to dry out carpet and padding. Wood flooring is rotting uner the pad. Apartment manager brought into unit to see damage. Electrical outlets in apartment do not function properly. Anytime she tries to plug an electrical device into the plug it falls out. If she forces the plug into the socket and turns on the devise there is sparking and at times it switches off due to the surge.
