10/07/2008 INSP - LIFE SAFETY JVINCENT Approved COMPLAINT INVESTIGATION. ODOR OF GAS WAS AROUND SMALL DUMPSTER. WAS OBVIOUS THAT SOME GAS WAS POURED IN FRONT OF DUMPSTER. THE GROUND WAS DIRT WITH GRAVEL. ALL THE FLUID HAD BEEN ABSORBED. DURING INVESTIGATION THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY ARRIVED. HE, SANTIAGO, STATED HE WAS WORKING ON A VEHICLE THAT BELONGED TO THE OWNER OF APT 3034. HE STATED HE WASHED THE OUTSIDE OF A GAS TANK BUT NO GAS WAS POURED OUT. HE STATED HE WOULD RAKE THE AREA. PROPERTY MANAGEMENT WAS ALSO CONTACTED. THEY WORK WITH THE RESPONSIBLE PARTY. I ALSO OBSERVED A SMALL CONTAINER OF USED MOTOR OIL BEHIND THE DUMPSTER. SANTIAGO AND PROPERTY MANAGEMENT STATED THEY WOULD DISPOSE OF PROPERLY. KURT WAS ALSO CONTACTED AND INFORMED OF HOW THE SITUATION WAS BEING RESOLVED.
