Except as specifically permitted by this section egress doors shall be readily openable from the egress side without the use of a key or special knowledge or effort. 1008.1.8.5 Unlatching. The unlatching of any door or leaf shall not require more than one operation. _____ Remove inoperable panic hardware from rear egress door to avoid any confusion. Remove double key lock and/or replace with thumb turn lock 1011.5.3 Power source. Exit signs shall be illuminated at all times.
