| 01/30/2008 | INSP - FULL | EGRIFFIN | Violation | On 1-30-08, a fire prevention inspection was conducted at 1159 North Columbus, Shurgard Storage Systems in Tucson, Arizona. The following Tucson Fire Code Violation(s) was noted: 1). Currently the fire alarm system has a trouble indicator, with possibility of a faulty fire detection device. This is in violation of IFC 901.6, which states: 901.6 Inspection, testing and maintenance. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. This letter is to inform you that abatement of these Tucson Fire Code violations must be completed by 2-13-08. A re-inspection shall be conducted at that time to ensure compliance. |
