06/07/2007 | INSP - FULL | BCORRALE | Approved | Upon re-inspection on 6/7, the door had been repaired with a single doorlatch that meets all 2003 Tucson Fire Code requirements for door hardware type, and ability to egress without a key or special knowledge. |
06/07/2007 | INSP - FULL | BCORRALE | Approved | Complaint fowarded for follow up to BCORRAL1 on 6/4. M17 took the initial complaint while on call after hours on 5/27. The following is from M17's report: "I was contacted by communications regarding locked exits at group home facility. An angry family member had called TV channel 9 with the complaint. Upon arrival at the above location, I was informed that Casa Del Puebla apts. was an apartment complex. (Not a group home facility) and that there was absolutely no one in site representing management, and there was one exit door from the sitting area off the lobby that was locked on a regular schedule for security. An inspection of the complex found all other exits alarmed and working/unlocked. (One emer. backup light out). I contacted the manager by phone and told her that the locked exit was a fire code violation that she was responsible to address." |
