The required fire-resistance rating of fire-resistance-rated construction (including walls, fire stops, shaft enclosures, partitions and floors) shall be maintained. Such elements shall be properly repaired, restored or replaced when damaged, altered, breached or penetrated. Openings made therein for the passage of pipes, electrical conduit, wires, ducts, air transfer openings, and holes made for any reason shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke and fire.TFC2003 ***Replace/reseat ceiling tiles.
02/14/2007 VIOL - HAZARDOUS MATERIALS,GEN BCORRALE Violation 5. Indoor Propane storage neccessitates NFPA 704 placard on outside of building. 2703.5 Hazard identification signs. Unless otherwise exempted by the fire code official, visible hazard identification signs as specified in NFPA 704 for the specific material contained shall be placed on stationary containers and above-ground tanks and at entrances to locations where hazardous materials are stored, dispensed, used or handled in quantities requiring a permit and at specific entrances and locations designated by the fire code official. ***Install NFPA 704 placards outside of building where forklifts will be stored overnight.
