Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for all hazardous materials shall be readily available on the premises. Acquire MSDS for all chemicals in occupancy. Keep readily available and train all employees in use of MSDS.

Identified hazardous electrical conditions in permanent wiring shall be brought to the attention of the code official responsible for enforcement of the ICC Electrical Code. Electrical wiring, devices, appliances and other equipment that is modified or damaged and constitutes an electrical shock or fire hazard shall not be used. 01/19/2007 VIOL - BUILDING SVCS & SYSTEMS NSPRENGE Violation 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. Remove all extension cords being used as permanent wiring.
01/19/2007 VIOL - BUILDING SVCS & SYSTEMS NSPRENGE Violation 605.6 Unapproved conditions. Open junction boxes and open-wiring splices shall be prohibited. Approved covers shall be provided for all switch and electrical outlet boxes. 1. Replace missing face plate on wall outlet. 2. Call 791-5550 for city electrical inspector to inspect the current conditions of the grounding wire in the Module Room and Assembly Room. Provide paperwork upon next inspection with approval that existing conditions are safe to remain as they are. ie:grounding work areas with the use of a ground wire hard wired into the outlets in the Assembly Room and in the Module Room.

Openings made therein for the passage of pipes, electrical conduit, wires, ducts, air transfer openings, and holes made for any reason shall be protected with approved methods capable of resisting the passage of smoke and fire. Fire detection, alarm and extinguishing systems shall be maintained in an operative condition at all times, and shall be replaced or repaired where defective. Nonrequired fire protection systems and equipment shall be inspected, tested and maintained or removed. Have your fire extinguisher tested and maintained.

Access to exits shall be marked by readily visible exit signs in cases where the exit or the path of egress travel is not immediately visible to the occupants. Place two illuminated exit signs in hallways so that an exit sign is visible from every office/ulitily room door.
