01/05/2007 VIOL - BUILDING SVCS & SYSTEMS NSPRENGE Violation 605.5 Extension cords. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be a substitute for permanent wiring. Extension cords and flexible cords shall not be affixed to structures, extended through walls, ceilings or floors, or under doors or floor coverings, nor shall such cords be subject to environmental damage or physical impact. Extension cords shall be used only with portable appliances. Replace extension cord ( attached to microwave ) with a UL listed and approved powerstrip with overcurrent protection.
01/05/2007 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS NSPRENGE Violation 1008.1.1.1 Projections into clear width. There shall not be projections into the required clear width lower than 34 inches (864 mm) above the floor or ground. Projections into the clear opening width between 34 inches (864 mm) and 80 inches (2032 mm) above the floor or ground shall not exceed 4 inches (102 mm). Remove boxes, shoe rack and stock in front of door and do not block your exits.
01/05/2007 VIOL - MEANS OF EGRESS NSPRENGE Violation Locks and latches shall be permitted to prevent operation of doors where any of the following exists: A readily visible durable sign is posted on the egress side on or adjacent to the door stating: THIS DOOR TO REMAIN UNLOCKED WHEN BUILDING IS OCCUPIED. The sign shall be in letters 1 inch (25 mm) high on a contrasting background. Acquire and post this sign above door in conspicuous place.
