08/20/2007 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMAN Approved MET WITH ROTO ROOTER WHO WERE JUST COMPLETING THEIR JOB SNAKING THE SEWER LINE. I SPOKE TO BEN PURCELL (ROTO ROOTER 940-4457) WHO TOOK ME DOWN UNDERNEATH THE BUILDING TO SHOW ME THE WORK THEY HAD COMPLETED. WE ENTERED THE BASEMENT AREA AND PROCEEDED INTO A CRAWL SPACE THAT TOOK US ALONG STONE HEADING SOUTH AND THEN TO AN AREA ALONG OCHOA. AT THE S/E CORNER OF THE BUILDING BEN SHOWED ME A PIECE OF PLASTIC PIPE TIED INTO CAST IRON PIPE. BEN MENTIONED THEY REMOVED THE PIPE (PLASTIC) AND WERE THEN ABLE TO SNAKE THE SEWER LINE IN TWO DIRECTIONS - WENT A FULL 90' INTO THE MAIN SEWER ON OCHOA. A HEAVY SLUDGE WAS REMOVED FROM THE PIPE. - TEMP1
