08/28/2007 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT LPUMPHRE Violation Inspection yesterday showed a severly dilapidated and incorrectly installed water heater that was leaking and causing water seepage into the unit. The equipment is accessible from outside. The tenant/complainant, Mr. Nockowski, did not wish for me to enter the unit to do any further inspections. A 21-day notice of violation will be sent to the owner and manager of property to replace, not just repair, the water heater, which will require a permit from DSD. Additionally, it appears the owner of this multi unit complex has previously been in violation and even cited. lrp
