08/10/2007 | INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT | GGOODMAN | Approved | VISITED SITE, MET WITH MAINTENANCE PERSON ONSITE WHO ALLOWED ENTRY INTO THE BUILDING AND WALKED ME THRU THE INTERIOR OF THE STRUCTURE. IT WAS MENTIONED THAT THE RAINS BEGAN TO FLOOD THE BUILDING SAT 08/04/07 AND BY SUN 08/05 ABRACADABRA HAD TO BE CALLED TO REMOVE THE WATER, WET CARPETING AND TO CUT DRYWALL AT THE BOTTOM OF MANY WALLS AND ALLOW THE BOTTOM PLATES OF THE WALLS TO DRY OUT. DRYWALL TO BE REPLACED BY ABRACADABRA. I THEN CALLED AND SPOKE TO RON SCHMIDT DEBUTY DIRECTOR FOR HOPE INC. AND EXPLAINED TO HIM EXACTLY WHAT I FOUND AND TOLD HIM BY THEM BEGINNING THE ABATEMENT PROCESS OF THE FLOODING THEY ABATED ANY ISSUES THAT THE CITY OR DNR MAY HAVE HAD. THE DIRECTOR REGINA KOTMEYER WAS THEN CALLED AND ON SPEAKER PHONE THE ENTIRE CONVERSATION WAS GONE OVER AGAIN. REGINA ASKED ABOUT AIR QUALITY AND I EXPLAINED THAT WE DO NOT INSPECT FOR THAT AND SUGGESTED SHE CALL PIMA COUNTY HEALTH, SHE SAID SHE HAD. DNR HAS NO ISSUES AT THIS TIME CLOSE CASE!! |
