Description:

Referral No: 27241-28669_The toilet in our home that we are currently renting became backed up at about 10:00 p.m. on July 26th (Thursday). On July 27th at approximately 9:00 a.m. I notified our landlord, Werth Realty, about the situation. They advised me that they would have somebody out to fix the problem as soon as possible and asked "did they have permission to enter our unit?" I did give permission. __At approximately 1:00 p.m. my husband called again as the maintenance man never did show. The lady who answered the phone then asked a gentleman when he'd be out and he said he would get to it that afternoon. __I got off of work at 7:00 p.m. and came home to find out that nobody had come to fix our toilet!!__We did have messages from a plumbing company on our answering machine from earlier in the day stating that they need to know when we'd be home so that they can fix our toilet. Since we weren't home during the plumbing company's business hours, they left a message st! ating that they would be out to our house between the hours of 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. on July 28th.__I find this unacceptable due to the fact that I have 3 children in my home along with my husband and I and we have only ONE BATHROOM in our home. (The rental company was fully aware of the fact.) I believe that this should have been considered unsanitary and a health hazard. Therefore it should have been a priority for Werth. __I am currently 6 months pregnant and I am in constant need of a restroom. __I want to know who I can talk to regarding the situation as I had to call in a plumber. I want to hold the rental company responsible for the bill that was incurred. I need to what my options are and to whom can I speak to.__Thank you for your help.
