HOUSE # 2249 E WATER//TENANT IS DISABLED; LIVED THERE FOR TWO YEARS; THERE WAS AN ADDITION TO HOUSE TO MAKE IT TWO BEDROOMS POSSIBLE WORK WITH OUT PERMITS; FLOODING TWO YEARS AGO; CARPET WAS WET AND OWNER NEVER ADDRESSED IT. TENANT HAD TO REPLACE CARPERT THEMSELVES; AGAIN THIS YEAR IT FLOODED AND THE CARPET WAS WET AGAIN BOTH TIMES THEY WERE FOOT DEEP IN THE WATER. THE CARPET NOW HAS MAGETS AND IS STILL WET. TENANTS SUCKED UP ABOUT TEN TO FIFTEEN GALLONS OF WATER AND STILL HAS WATER IN HOUSE. THE MAJORITY OF THE WATER COLLECTS IN THE ROOM THAT WAS ADDED. THERE HAS BEEN NO EFFORT FROM ONWER TO GET THE WATER AND CARPET FIXED. TENANT IS ON A FIXED INCOME AND IS SICK FROM THE WET CARPET; THE ROOF CAVED IN AND THERE IS A HUGE HOLE IN THE CEILING AND THE ROOM ADDITION; TENANTS ARE STILL LIVING IN UNIT. NOTIFIED AREA INSP. 09/03/2007 INSP - FOLLOW UP CODE ENFORCE WNAVARRO Approved INSPECTED, ROOF REDOEN, INTRIOR IN PROCESS OF GETTING REHAB, SPOKE TO MAINTANENCE MAN, EXPL TO HIM THAT W/H NEEDED TO BE VENTED THRU ROOF. ONLY ALLOWED 1-90 DEGREE BEND (2-45 DEGREE) ONLY. THIS NEEDED TO BE DONE BEFORE RENTED. CARPET WAS REMOVED, WALLS BEING PAINTED. WILL CHECK IN PERMITS PLUS.
