Case Description: RES: MINIMUM HOUSING
Total Completed Inspections - 2
End Date Description Inspector Results Comments
10/02/2007 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT LPUMPHRE Approved Inspection showed high weeds and grass throught property, including very tall (6'0"+) bamboo-type grass in back and alley. Refuse and debris was present throughout backyard, as well as a large amount of item storage. Front yard also had a large amount of items stored. Junk grey/silver Camaro-type vehicle in driveway was unregistered (no plate visible) with flat tires. HVAC unit on top of house was loud and making clanking noises. Owner Milton Peterson and son were home at time of inspection. Son stated that HVAC was operational. Son did not allow entry when asked. Both looked in ill health. The father was drooling and could barely walk. NOV will be issued for storage, refuse, weed, and junk vehicle violations, though ability (monetarily, physically, and mentally) to comply will make compliance difficult (inspector's opinion). Possible referral of father to adult protective services; will speak with referring officer and APS. May need help from both to assess living conditions on interior. NOV WILL BE PREPARED FOR OWNER/TENANT MELVIN PETERSON. lrp
