| 04/27/2006 | INSP-INITIAL ZONING ENFORCMENT | MCASTRO | Approved | No evidence of commercial auto repair. Met occupant on site. Stated the following information: the minivan in front belongs to a friend from work, it has a broken trany and will be repaired and removed by the weekend, the Tahoe has a transmission that can go in his truck which he is going to do and then have it removed and scraped, also noted that the Tahoe and Blazer have been there for several months as he tries to repair these vehicles for his friends. The dune buggy, blazer, and van should be gone within the next week. Occupant stresses that he is not running an auto repair business and claims that it shouldn't be illegal to help his friends out by fixing there vehicles and also is frustrated with the city harassing him on these complaints. There was a previous violation on this property for the same complaint which resulted as an invalid complaint. The occupant had title and registration for the vehicles on his property. In this case, he indicated he is working on the vehicles that belong to his friends but is not doing it as a business. |
