Without any noted firewalls, fire barriers or any other fire rated separation There are several operations that are being conducted that may require a specialized type of building constriction, such operations include but are not limited to; · Spraying of flammable finishes in one room with open flame 10 feet away in another non-separated room. · Electrical transformers for neon sign work- no permits could be presented. · Natural gas Distribution system in side room with open flame- no permits could be presented. International Building Code section 110 states; SECTION 110 CERTIFICATE OF OCCUPANCY 110.1 Use and occupancy. No building or structure shall be used or occupied, and no change in the existing occupancy classification of a building or structure or portion thereof shall be made until the building official has issued a certificate of occupancy therefor as provided herein. Issuance of a certificate of occupancy shall not be construed as an approval of a violation of the provisions of this code or of other ordinances of the jurisdiction. This building and vehicles have been referred to City of Tucson Department of Neighborhood Resources. |
