04/03/2006	VIOL - PRECAUTION AGAINST FIRE	EGRIFFIN	Violation	1). Currently this excess waste around and in the backyards apartments 1231, 1225, 1227, this includes but not limited to: Several mattresses, wood grass piles with animal waste, furniture, old clothing, carpets, doors and other combustible material. 304.1.1 Waste material. Accumulations of wastepaper, wood, hay, straw, weeds, litter or combustible or flammable waste or rubbish of any type shall not be permitted to remain on a roof or in any court, yard, vacant lot, alley, parking lot, open space, or beneath a grandstand, bleacher, pier, wharf, manufactured home, recreational vehicle or other similar structure. All combustible material shall be removed. 2). Electrical cord shall be removed from between Apt. 1227 and shed. IFC 605.1 3). Shed walls and doors shall be repaired. IFC 315.
04/17/2006	INSP - REINSPECTION	EGRIFFIN	Violation	1). On 4-13-06, a special reinspection was conducted with you and the occupant 1231 present. At that time we inventoried all combustible material, and I indicated verbally all combustible material that needs to be removed from property. At that time we also discussed how the fence material between the apartments is a nuisance and unsafe. This fence made up of different shapes and colors of plywood that has deteriorated over several years, and is unsecured. At that time I ordered to you of what type of fence shall be constructed. Also, we spoke of the used Jacuzzi in the back, this Jacuzzi shall meet the City of Tucson Pool and Spa Code or shall be removed. In addition, we discussed with the occupant of 1231, and gave a deadline of 4-28-06, in which all projects must be completed and removed from the exterior of the premises. Mr. Xiao, you are responsible for this property. If the above has not been completed, pictures will be taken of all material in violation and sent to City of Tucson Prosecutors office for possible litigation. Currently you are in violation of the following International Fire Codes: 304.1.1 Waste material. Accumulations of wastepaper, wood, hay, straw, weeds, litter or combustible or flammable waste, or rubbish of any type shall not be permitted to remain on a roof or in any court, yard, vacant lot, alley, parking lot, open space, or beneath a grandstand, bleacher, pier, wharf, manufactured home, recreational vehicle or other similar structure. 304.2 Storage. Storage of combustible rubbish shall not produce conditions that will create a nuisance or a hazard to the public health, safety or welfare. 2).All non-permitted electrical shall be removed, as discussed as per IFC 605.1. This includes all electrical that has been rigged illegally from shed to apartments. Properly remove electrical cord and associated appliances. This letter is to inform you that abatement of these Tucson Fire Code violations must be completed by 4-28-06. A re-inspection shall be conducted at that time to ensure compliance.
