04/13/2007 INSP - INITIAL CODE ENFORCMENT GGOODMAN Approved VISITED SITE, MET WITH TFD CAPTAIN MOSS WHO MENTIONED SMALL TRAILER FIRE CAUSED BY A SHORT IN AN ELECTRICAL WIRE, THAT WAS CUT AFTER CLOSING OF THE DOOR. WIRE RAN FROM UNDERNEATH TRAILER-OUTSIDE- UP THE DOOR JAMB ON THE KNOB SIDE TO A SWITCH. THERE WAS MINOR FLOOR DAMAGE CAUSED BY TFD WORK. STAIRS AT REAR DOOR WERE REMOVED BY TFD. TEP CUT POWER TO THE TRAILER AT THE PEDESTAL. SW GAS WAS OUT BUT FOUND NO TRACES OF GAS IN OR AROUND THE EXTERIOR OF THE TRAILER. MANAGER ROBERT FLORES LEFT WIRES UNCONNECTED AND WIRE NUTTED THE WIRES SO THAT POWER COULD BE RESTORED. NOV TO BE ISSUED. *CHECKED THE INTERIOR SUB-PANEL FOUND THE FOLLOWING : 1)PANEL MISSING COVER PLATE 2)FUSES DOUBLE LUGGED 3)SUB PANEL MISSING KNOCKOUTS. 4)WIRING EXPOSED IN SIDE THE CLOSET. 5)MAIN SHUT OFF TO PANEL NEEDS CONDUIT BETWEEN BOXES.
