08/23/2005 VIOL - ADMINISTRATION JLANGEJA Violation TFC 111- STOP WORK ORDER. Due to violations in the original variance that was granted on February 07, 1983, all flammable finish opeations shall cease immediately.
08/23/2005 VIOL - FLAMMABLE FINISHES JLANGEJA Violation TFC 45.102- Smoking shall be prohibited in any spray finishing area. "NO SMOKING" signs with lettering of approved size shall be conspicuously posted in such areas.
08/23/2005 VIOL - FLAMMABLE FINISHES JLANGEJA Violation TFC 45.104- Conspicuous signs conveying the following warning shall be posted in the vicinity of all spraying operations: NO WELDING The use welding or cutting equipment in or near this area is dangerous because of fire and explosion. Welding and cutting shall be done only under the supervision of the foreman in charge.
08/23/2005 VIOL - FLAMMABLE FINISHES JLANGEJA Violation TFC 45.204(b)- The spraying operations shall be so designed, installed and maintained that the average air velocity over the open face of the booth shall not be less than 100 linear feet per minute. Visible gages or audible alarm devices shall be installed to indicate that the required air velocity is maintained.
08/23/2005 VIOL - FLAMMABLE FINISHES JLANGEJA Violation TFC 45.204(c)- all discarded filter pads shall be removed immediately to a safe, well-detached location or place in a water filled metal container and disposed of at the close of the days operation.
08/23/2005 VIOL - FLAMMABLE FINISHES JLANGEJA Violation TFC 45.206(b)- mechanical ventilation shall be kept in operation at all times during and for a sufficient time thereafter to allow vapors from drying to be exhausted. The electrical equipment shall be interlocked with the ventilation of spraying area so that the equipment cannot be operated unless the ventilation fans are in operation.
