The customer claimed that the label on the outside of the jar started to burn when the candle was used. The store owner claimed that he had not recieved any complaints about the candles in the past. I spoke to Maru Tynick of Mercado latino (626-333-6862), the candle manufacture and distributor. She said that she has had no complaints or incidents involving the candles igniting the label when used. I spoke to Tina DeConncini (the caller) to let her know that there was an investagation and that a report would be filled. The directions on the candle label stated that the candle should be used within sight of the user. |
